Sony Xperia T, TX, V, and J hands-on pictures

Sony Xperia T, TX, V, and J hands-on pictures

Sony is just about out of letters to use for its Xperia lineup. (Look for the company to patent a new alphabet in the near future.) The company today announced three new phones — the T / TX flagship and the lower-tier V and J models. At face value, there isn't much aesthetic difference — similar design, slightly different materials, the lack of "Xperia" on the front plate for Xperia V and J. (The J in particular also seems especially prone to fingerprints.)

The Xperia T is the clear flagship here, with 4.6-inch HD Reality display and Sony's Mobile Bravia engine. The dedicated hardware camera button did pull up the app fast and taking pictures in the environment was fairly quick, but we'll reserve final judgment for a review unit. The phone will be known as the Xperia TX in the markets, with the only difference being that Xperia T is "the ultimate HD experience as used by James Bond." Seriously, it'son the adjacent spec sheet — the "one Sony" synergy is strong with this one. Until their Q4 launch, enjoy the new Xperia lineup vicariously in pictures.

Nokia leaks C2-06 Touch and Type accidentally, dual-SIM fans rejoice

The first dual-SIM member of the Nokia Touch and Type family has just made its unexpected public debut. The Nokia C2-06 (or C2-02 according to some sources) appeared on the Nokia Conversation blog, starring on an image dedicated to the IPv6 transition of the company's OVI browser.
As you can imagine, given the nature of the leak, there were no phone specifications mentioned, but this image is more than enough to confirm the existence of the handset.
Before this confirmation, there was always the chance that the leaked prototype we saw earlier was just a dead project that will never see the light of day. Well, it's not.
Now this "accidental" appearance of the unannounced C2-06 could be either a PR move by Nokia attempting to generate more interest to the Ovi browser article, or just an honest mistake, but whatever it is, we are sure the dual-SIM fans around the world will be glad it happened.
It was only recently, that we saw the first Dual SIM phones by Nokia, the Nokia X1-01 and C2-00, finally ship.
So how about an official announcement now so we know what exactly to be looking forward to?

Samsung launches two dual-SIM Champs - the E2652 and E2652W

Samsung has released two new versions of its youthful C3300K Champ without any fanfare. The E2652 and E2652W Champ Duos are both boosted with dual-SIM capabilities and 0.2-inch bigger screen, while the W-fella also gets Wi-Fi connectivity.

The new Champ Duos phones look much like the original Champ, even the rest of the specs are the same - a QVGA resistive display, a 1.3 megapixel snapper, an FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card slot. There is no built-in FM radio antenna and stereo speakers this time, but we guess those have been sacrificed for the second SIM slot (and the Wi-Fi connectivity).

Anyway, the Champ Duos E2652 and E2652W are currently available in Russia and the MEA region. There is no word on the pricing or expanded availability just yet
